Find answers to common questions about ANTSA.
ANTSA® is a secure, Australian, clinician-governed platform that gives you visibility into care between sessions. AI Scribe, telehealth, homework, mood tracking, resources, secure messaging and optional practitioner-assigned AI support all sit within one system, so clinicians stay informed and in control between appointments.
No. ANTSA® is a clinical support platform that helps extend visible care between sessions. It does not replace therapy, diagnose conditions, make clinical decisions or operate independently of practitioner oversight. Clinical judgement, formulation and responsibility remain with the practitioner. If AI support is used, it is assigned and overseen within defined clinical parameters, and clients are invited into the system by their practitioner to engage only with assigned supports.
Yes. ANTSAbot is completely optional and practitioner-assigned. Clinicians decide whether it is appropriate for each client, and clients are asked to consent before using it. ANTSA® can still be used for AI Scribe, telehealth, homework, mood tracking, resources, secure messaging and other clinical workflow tools without ANTSAbot.
No. ANTSA® is built to bring clinicians into digital care, not remove them. Clinical judgement, formulation and the therapeutic relationship stay central. ANTSA® adds visibility to care that is already happening between sessions, so you remain informed and in control of your clinical workflow.
No. ANTSAbot does not act independently. It supports reflection, psychoeducation and engagement within clinician-set parameters, only with clients the clinician assigns it to. It does not diagnose, provide independent therapy, create treatment plans or give medical advice. Practitioners can review interactions and retain responsibility for care.
ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI tool that clients may use independently, outside their treating clinician's visibility. ANTSA® is different because it sits within the clinical relationship. Tools such as ANTSAbot are practitioner-assigned, consented to by the client and reviewable by the clinician, rather than operating without clinical oversight. Clients are not left to navigate AI support on their own. The practitioner controls what is assigned, can review relevant interactions and remains responsible for clinical care.
No. Client data remains within the governed system and is not used to train public or external AI models. Privacy and security are core to how ANTSA® is designed.
Yes. ANTSA® is hosted on secure Australian servers and built around privacy, encryption, two-factor authentication and consent-based sharing. It is aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles, HIPAA and GDPR, with ISO 27001 certification in progress, and data stays contained within your governed clinical system.
